i've tried similar shots in the past, usually incorporating the background to tell a story... but this image seems more emotive, like a moment we're being let in on, a moment of recognition or confusion or something. probably not what you were aiming for, but cool and kinda spooky none-the-less. |

I really like it--your eyes look really pentrating, and Chris is right, it is emotive, but it is also cool in that it is a view of myself that I have seen a million times, and it is neat to see an everyday image captured powerfully. |

Best thing about this is that the mirror seems to be completely disconnected from the background, just floating in the center of a white border. This creates a great frame within the frame, and so the subject is literally severed from himself and trapped in this inverted strip of a plane. Great shot. |
