I like various sections immensely, but as a whole the effect is too choppy.
I mean, I know it's supposed to be choppy IDM, right? But even in that, it felt too
clearly divided into parts (transistions at :55, 1:14, 2:10, 2:38). The Radiohead cuts were too long and obvious; I liked how you took breakbeat slices of it a lot, and suggest that you emphasize that instead. I'd suggest something like
Aphex Twin's '4' (first track of Richard D. James album), which is to start with a crazy breakbeatish theme theme that you return to ocassionally to guide the listener, rather than trekking between polished components. |

2:35-- woah. transition, anyone? honestly, I feel a bit lost from there to about 2:50. There are some choppy bits that I think are maybe intentional, but feel/sound like a sloppy transition. I like what's on either side, though. |
