j_moody: all the rounded shapes and the rounded lettering of the graffito are pleasing in this one.

mwirth: "Only the ruined and paranoid" what? I can't read the rest.

mwirth: I didn't even notice the figure at first. I like that he is visually obscure, but there- like he's a student of the graffitti wisdom. The message is going somewhere.

laura: "survive"

tom: Is that guy busy tagging the pier? Also, where is this?

laura: Nah, that's Sky, just looking. We were by the Missouri River, somewhere off 24 in Missouri the state.

mwirth: Cool! I'll survive. :)

sprice: Now, Rat, the question is: is that a logical and, or an English and? I mean, with the former, you only get to survive if you are both ruined and paranoid. With the latter, y'know, you can choose.

mwirth: Good point. Paranoid perhaps, but I like to think I'm not ruined yet.

cfanjul: where does the purple cast on this come from? is that photoshopped, or is this color-process b&w film? also, the depth of field is really nice - blurred grasses in front and in the distance.

laura: The purple must be in the scan; I shot it on Kodak TX400 and am still pretty ignorant of photoshop.

samira: I quite like this image--before I read the comments, I thought that you had interupted the figure creating the graffitti! Mostly, though, I like the shapes in the bridge--I am a real sucker for the beauty of bridge design.
