sprice: Gliders are really short. Profound, I know, but hey.

tom: They're not that short--this one is probably as long as a single engine Cessna and as tall as many common kitplanes. There aren't the usual landing gear (just one wheel sticking out of the bottom of the fuselage). Another factor could be the great big wings.

The plane is a Schweizer 1-26, and the place is Grove City Airport, about an hour north of Pittsburgh.

lizzy: I like the way the clouds part. It's really quite nice and adds a lot to the photo.
