(Tran-KEY-low PAH): A wise Paraguayan phrase that means you might as well just bask in the sheer weirdness of it all. |

I am Chuck, a Quaker by religion, caffeine addict by choice. I read, I write, I wield a wok in the kitchen and I wield power tools in the theatre; I am Computer Science major striving to bring balance to the force. I wish I were a pirate. My life is terribly dull on the scope of days and frighteningly surreal on the scope of months. I took some time off from Swarthmore to study and live in a Quaker community and learned very little, which was in itself educational. The little knowledge I did pick up involved learning how to sprinkle faux-Zen-sounding tidbits into my writing. It bothers me that I'm 22 years old. That's like, "adult"; spooky. I am not nearly as spry as I was my sophomore (Greek: wise fool) year, but being as how I cannot remember any details thanks in large part to the best efforts of my ex-Lodge 2 roommates Wayne and Greg, I may as well assume that now is the high point of my college career. I shall leave college so very soon to enter the real world. Er, uhm, Berkeley, which is "Real World Lite." Hopefully there an enlightened one can explain II Kings 2:23 to me. |
